The Tache Fire Department was called to a two-vehicle collision just south of Landmark Thursday evening.

Tache Fire Chief Allan Rau says the collision happened right around 5 P.M.

"It came to us as a head-on collision of a truck and van. The occupants of both vehicles self-extricated however as a result of the type of call, STARS was auto-launched and they did come over the scene, they flew by and then returned to the base. The patients were evaluated by the paramedics on scene and were released."

Rau says there the truck had two occupants while the van only had one. He notes with all of the blowing snow Thursday afternoon, that stretch of PR 206 was very icy at the time of the collision.
