The Providence Pilots futsal 2017-18 season has come to an end as both teams lost in the semi-final stage of the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference playoffs.

The Pilots men lost 7-4 to Les Rouges de l’Universite de Saint-Boniface in Brandon while the women were also defeated by USB with a final score of 8-7.

The Brandon University Bobcats prevailed 6-3 over USB in the men’s final while the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers beat Les Rouges 5-2 in the women’s match.

“I am really proud of our team. We fought to the very end,” says Pilots women’s head coach Tory Walker. “This group of players has shown a lot of growth throughout the year and I am so proud to be their coach.”

The 2018-19 Pilots season will begin with outdoor soccer in early September.
