Council for the Village of St. Pierre is looking for a new slogan and they’ve asked the community for help. 2017 12 stpierre

Mayor Mona Fallis says their current slogan is ‘country living at its best’ and she adds while that is a good slogan for their community, council thought it was time for something new.

"We’re redoing our village website and we thought that now is the time to maybe get a new tagline or slogan for the community. Something that’s more relevant to today’s times and we’re hoping that somebody will come up with a jazzy new slogan that we can use for the town as a whole."

She notes they put out a contest for residents of their community to come up with suggestions of a new tagline that would best represent St. Pierre.

"It went out in January and the deadline for submissions is February 16. We’ve had five or six of them already and a few of them are pretty catchy and very interesting so I think it will be a difficult decision to pick one."

Fallis says they hope to have the redesigned website up and running by late spring or early summer.
