High winds tossed around signs, fences, and branches on Sunday.

Manitoba Agriculture weather stations report maximum wind speeds of 68 kilometres an hour in Steinbach. The highest wind speed measured in the southeast was in St. Pierre at 80 km/h.

Environment Canada had issued a wind warning for the day. They ended the warning Sunday night saying "A cold front, which moved across the prairies on Sunday, has ushered a much cooler air mass into the region." Cool winds from the north will continue over the coming days bringing temperatures that will likely fall below the zero mark.
