City to close portion of Loewen Boulevard, provide alternate route to Bethesda Hospital

Work on the lift station on Loewen Boulevard will force a lane closure starting Monday, April 1.

The City of Steinbach says the eastbound lane on Loewen Boulevard, from Home Street North to Henry Street, will be closed temporarily until April 18.

An alternative route has been designated for accessing the hospital, marked in blue on the map below.

During the closure period, street parking within the affected area will be unavailable. Travel will be restricted to westbound only in the marked zone. However, pedestrians can continue to use the walkway crossing Loewen Boulevard at Henry Street.

The City of Steinbach asks that motorists adhere to posted signage, exercise caution and reduce speed while navigating through that area.
