One person is dead following a crash this morning near Deacon's Corner.
Oakbank RCMP received the call at 3:30 am. They responded to a single vehicle collision along the Trans Canada Highway, near Provincial Road 207.
When officers arrived on scene, a 32-year-old male from Winnipeg was receiving medical attention and an SUV was resting on its roof in the westbound lane of the divided highway.
The male was pronounced dead on scene.
That stretch of highway was closed for about four hours while crews investigated. The investigation continues with help from an RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist.
