Southern Manitoba will continue to be dry for at least the next few weeks according to Environment Canada forecaster Suzanne D'Amour.  She explains we are stuck in a dry cycle with not enough moisture in the air to generate rain.  She says we will likely continue to see precipitation only in small, localized areas.  Ideally she notes we would see a low pressure system move through southern Manitoba from the southwest but she says systems like that are rare on the prairies at this time of year.
