The La Broquerie Fire Department was called to a dumpster fire behind La Broquerie Lumber shortly before 5 Friday evening.

Captain Darren Dundas says the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. He notes the firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

"We had to extinguish the fire, it was fully involved within the dumpster, contained within."

Dundas says the dumpster itself is not damaged.
