Friday, March 8th is International Women’s Day, and people of all businesses and backgrounds across the Southeast are coming together to celebrate the resilience of women everywhere.

Agape House is proud to present the Purple Gala – formerly known as Women, Wine & Theater. This unique evening features performances, music, cocktails, appetizers, and a ton of fun – all in support of the critical services Agape House provides every day.

Agape House provides a safe space and 24/7 support to those experiencing domestic violence in southeastern Manitoba. This past November, purple Ribbons for Hope were worn by all those who wanted the world to know they were taking a stand against domestic violence by showing their support for Agape House. The Purple Gala provides another opportunity for people to demonstrate their support for this initiative.

Emceed by Carly Koop and DJ’d by DJ R.Jo, the Purple Gala promises to be the kind of event you’ll want to see, and where you’ll want to be seen. The kind of event that will be talked about the following Monday.

Agape House reveals there are more exciting announcements to come, so keep up on the latest Gala news by following them on Instagram and Facebook.

In the meantime, be sure to gather your friends for a fun formal night out, recognizing the strength of all women, and raising awareness and funds for Agape House.

The Purple Gala is an 18+ event, hosted at the Friedensfeld Community Centre on Friday, March 8th. Doors open at 6 for cocktails and the chance to mingle, and the event officially commences at 7 o’clock, running late into the night. Tickets are $60 each.
