There was a widespread power outage Thursday morning in Steinbach.
According to Manitoba Hydro, the power went out at around 7:39 am. The outage mostly impacted the triangle-shaped area that is east of Highway 12, north of McKenzie Avenue and southwest of Highway 52.
A Hydro spokesperson says the outage was the result of a pole fire behind a car dealership off Main Street.
The outage impacted about 660 customers.
The spokesperson says that as of 9:14 am, power was restored to all customers except for one.
Repairs to the hydro pole are continuing.
