Niverville council has decided its time to re-work a major intersection.  Right now Spruce Drive and Third Street do not line up properly making for a confusing intersection.  Deputy Mayor John Funk feels it's important to deal with this corner because there is a lot of traffic on Spruce Drive plus there is a high school at that intersection and many young families in the area.  So the town has hired an engineering firm to re-work the design.  Funk says there are a lot of variables to consider such as the addition of a new sidewalk, the poor condition of the road and drainage issues.  The design should be complete next month with construction to begin next spring.
