The Fire Chief for Hanover says there were no injuries in a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday morning west of Mitchell.

Paul Wiebe says his crews were called to Highway 52 at approximately 8:45 am. They arrived to find three vehicles involved.

"One of them was a school bus, which fortunately did not have any passengers," notes Wiebe. "One vehicle was attempting to make a left-handed turn and was struck by vehicles going the same direction."

Wiebe says though there were three vehicles involved, only two of them actually collided, the other one just ended up in the ditch. He says the school bus from Division scolaire Vallee de la Riviere Rouge was one of the two vehicles that collided.

Wiebe says they had to partially close the highway while crews cleared the scene. He notes there was minor damage to the vehicles involved.
