As of approximately 9:20 AM, power has been restored in Steinbach and all traffic lights are back on and functioning normally.

A power outage is affecting the Northern part of Steinbach.

The unplanned outage started at 6:14am and Manitoba Hydro expects power to be restored at 10:00am today.

The cause of the outage was an equipment problem.
