Raymond Roy shares his inspirational story of literacy!

February is "I Love to Read Month" and this morning we were inspired by Raymond Roy. Ray grew up in southern Manitoba and made his way right through high school graduation without ever learning to read. He got by doing well in shops class and counting on memorization, routine and some other tricks to squeak by at the rest. But his 2 year old son caught him making up his bed time story -- and said, "Dad, you can't read"... and the little guy was right. That hit home pretty hard... as did trying to land a new job at the time... so, he buckled down, went back to school and learned... truly learned to read and it has changed his life. So inspiring.
