Overland flooding and high water levels caused road damage in municipalities, such as La Broquerie, which are now under repair as water levels recede.

Public works supervisor Ron Kowalchuk says their current road repair priorities include Wells Road, Sarto Road, and Marchand Road.

"We're working on Marchand Road at the Seine River, we're going to be filling in some of the washouts that were created by the high water. Those are probably the worst spots that we had to deal with."

Kowalchuk notes the spring road conditions are about the same as last year and none of the bridges in the municipality are in need of repair after the spring thaw.

Road closures in La Broquerie include:
- Shumlak Road (46E) from St. Roch Road (33N) to St. Joseph Road (34N)
- Hirschfeld Road (36E) from Lischynski Road (28.5N) to Marchand Road (30N)
- St. Pierre Line Road (29N) from Provincial Road 302 to St. Denis Road (41E)
- Closed Intersection: Frechette Road (32N) at Shumlak Road (46E)
- Closed Intersection: Wells Road (46E) at Balcaen Road (25N)

Meanwhile, in the RM of Hanover, roads are soft in many areas due to frost boils, but all roads are reported as passable. Only one road remains closed, Road 31E between Road 21N and Provincial Road 403, west of Pansy.
