The SRSS will be having a talent show on Thursday afternoon with another performance in the evening which will be open to the community.

For brother and sister performers Daniel and Ashley, getting to see all amazing acts up on stage will be something really special. "All different types and variety." said an excited Daniel. "We have singing, different guitar acts, rubix cube, slam poetry and even Ukrainian dancing this year."

Ashley also added that this is really an event for everyone. "Even if you don't go to the SRSS or you just want to spend an evening, it's all good. We're charging a toonie and part of the proceeds will go to Ronald McDonald house. We know some people that have used Ronald McDonald house and it's just a really great way to give back.

Ashley and Daniel will be teaming up for sketch comedy. "We've done one performance." Daniel said with a laugh. "There's lots of comedy that goes around our house."

Sheri Warner, one of the staff organizers knows that it's really the dedication of the performers that make something like this possible. "It's amazing. This isn't just open to anyone, the whole idea is over a month ago, they go through an audition process. We had a panel of judges that decided who would make it and they've spent time practicing."

Refreshments, snacks and great performances await at the SRSS talent show on Thursday afternoon/evening.
