Stolen truck recovered, trailer and other items are still missing

Steinbach RCMP are looking for information regarding a stolen truck, trailer, lawncare equipment, and licence plates. 

On Tuesday, July 26th, a complaint was made that a white GMC Sierra 2500 pick-up truck was stolen from Penner Auction on Brandt Street in Steinbach. 

A white Freedom trailer was also stolen. 

The trailer had various lawn maintenance equipment inside including two Walker mowers and a Kabota LX 3310 tractor with a mower deck attached. 

The truck has since been recovered in St. Pierre, however, the trailer and other items are still missing. 

This theft happened between 7pm on Monday, July 25th and 8am on Tuesday, July 26th. 

In another case, Steinbach RCMP are looking for information regarding the theft of licence plates that were taken from a vehicle that was parked on Centre Avenue in Blumenort. 

The licence plates are Manitoba CEQ 837. It is unknown when this theft occurred.
