Steinbach's Brendan Harms & Brett Adnum, Yvan Pattyn of Ste. Anne and Brent Wold of Lac du Bonnet are Manitoba Junior Hockey League champions for the second year in a row.

Harms scored both goals as Portage edged the Winnipeg Saints 2-1 on Tuesday night. The Terriers took the best-of-seven final four games to one. Wold assisted on both of Harms' goals. Corey Petrash had the lone goal for the Saints. Portage goaltender Adam Iwan stopped 23 of the 24 shots he faced while Saints netminder Teagan Sacher handled 28 shots. It's the Terriers fourth Turnbull Trophy championship in five seasons.

Adnum, who joined the Terriers for the MJHL final after helping the Steinbach Huskies win the Hanover-Tache Junior Hockey League championship, compared this Turnbull Trophy victory to last seasons.

Portage will face either the Humboldt Broncos or Weyburn Red Wings for the ANAVET Cup. The Broncos own a 3-2 series lead in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League final. Game six goes Friday in Weyburn.
