They're all coming to see the annual Pioneer Days Parade. The parade marshal for the Pioneer Days Parade in Steinbach says Friday's event will be a lively one. Gerry Klassen says well over 100 entries have already registered and many of those are musical. The parade begins at 10:00 and Klassen expects it to be one of the biggest and best ever. The parade starts at the fire hall and will run down Main Street before turning north along highway #12. Klassen expects one of the crowd favourites to be the restored steam engine which has been a symbol of Pioneer Days since the early 70s. He is hoping everyone will bring a non-perishable food item to help with the Southeast Helping Hands food drive taking place during the parade.
