One person was taken to hospital after two pick-up trucks collided near Ste. Anne this morning.

The crash happened prior to 11 am at the intersection of Highway 12 and Provincial Road 210.

Steinbach RCMP report one of the trucks was travelling west along the 210 when it was struck by a southbound truck as it crossed Highway 12.

The collision forced the southbound truck to roll onto its side in the westbound ditch. The other truck came to a rest on the west shoulder of Highway 12.

Police say the driver of the westbound truck, a 57-year-old male from the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne was not injured. The driver of the other truck, a 55-year-old male from Winnipeg sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital as a precaution.
