Step into your creativity on Wednesday, Oct. 15, starting at 7 p.m. for an all-ages Paint Night. “We’re going to be doing some fall painting this time,” says Lisa Fast, outreach and housing coordinator at Agape House. “It’s open to anyone, no matter what level of painting they might be at.” A night to create Hosted at Smitty’s in Steinbach, the creative evening will be led by local artist and painting instructor, Colleen Watchhorn. “She’s been doing (these events) for a while and she’s just such a great support, so much fun, and she’s so knowledgeable, she really makes the evening so much better,” Fast explains. To match the seasonal vibes, painters will create an autumn-themed artwork under the guidance of Watchhorn. “We’re going to be doing a fall scene... just getting into that cozy fall feeling.” Funding for the future Tickets are $40 and can be purchased on the Agape House website, Facebook or Instagram. Funds raised will support the non-profit programs and services, helping Agape House provide the best care for its clients. “It’s a great opportunity to get together with some friends or family and support a great cause.” If you're looking for a night out with friends or a way to give back to the community, this paint night promises both creativity and impact.
